Accountant

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and commercially minded Accountant to join the finance team at Twin Towns Clubs & Resorts.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer this role includes financial reporting and analysis, asset and liability reconciliations, oversight of the finance team while supporting the business with financial insights across a diverse hospitality and entertainment operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monthly financial reporting and financial analysis across multiple sites, including journals and reconciliations.

• Managing and oversight of the fixed asset register and depreciation.

• Maintaining compliance with statutory obligations including BAS, Taxes and other statutory reporting requirements.

• Assist with annual financial reporting and year end processes.

• Provide analytical support to identify opportunities to improve productivity, systems and processes.

• Submit reports in a timely manner, ensuring deadlines are met.

• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and to provide financial insights.

Successful Candidates will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications or higher in Accounting and/or Finance.

• Minimum of three years’ experience in an Accountant role.

• Strong accounting experience in monthly financial reporting and systems management.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Strong financial analysis, business partnering and support capability.

• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data and reporting.

• Strong organisational skills to ensure that tasks are completed within deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with Technology One ERP system will be highly regarded.

• A proactive mindset and drive to meet KPIs and identify opportunities for continual improvement.

• Experience within hospitality, clubs or multi-site operations (highly regarded).
