About the Opportunity
This is a newly created Salesforce Development Lead role within our Salesforce team, where you will be responsible for leading a dedicated squad focused on delivering high-quality Salesforce solutions that enhance customer experiences and business outcomes. A key focus of this role will be leading the ongoing enhancement and evolution of RACV's customer-facing chatbot, helping deliver smarter, more seamless digital interactions for our members.
Working closely with Technical Leads, Architects, Product teams and key business stakeholders, you'll drive delivery excellence while ensuring solutions align with RACV's engineering standards, architectural principles and future technology direction.
Key responsibilities include
Lead technical delivery across a Salesforce delivery stream, ensuring quality, timeliness and technical integrity of solutions.Mentor and support developers through code reviews, technical guidance and hands-on coaching.Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex delivery and platform issues.Drive solution design and implementation aligned to enterprise architecture and engineering standards.Partner with Product Managers, Delivery Leads and cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and delivery outcomes.Promote best practice engineering, CI/CD, testing, security and platform governance.Conduct peer reviews and provide technical leadership across Salesforce development activities.Support the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices and emerging Salesforce AI capabilities.Contribute hands-on through proof-of-concepts, troubleshooting and complex development activities where required.
What you’ll need to be successful
Extensive experience in Salesforce development and technical delivery leadership.Strong knowledge of Salesforce Experience CloudIn depth experience with Salesforce Service Cloud or Omni-Channel experienceHands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC)Proficient in Apex DevelopmentSalesforce integrations (APIs and enterprise integration patterns)Experience designing scalable, secure and maintainable Salesforce solutions.Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and modern software engineering principles.Experience leading technical teams within Agile delivery environments.Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, developers, delivery teams and business stakeholders.Experience with Einstein Bots, Messaging for Web and Salesforce AI capabilities is highly regarded.Exposure to Agentforce, Generative AI and intelligent automation solutions will be advantageous.
