The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Business Intelligence team and help build scalable, cloud-based data solutions.
You’ll work across a modern stack, delivering end-to-end data pipelines, models, and analytics capabilities, while uplifting data quality and driving automation across the business.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone passionate about modern data engineering, cloud platforms, and continuous improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT)Develop and maintain data models for analytics and reportingEnsure data quality, reliability and governanceAutomate data workflows in a cloud-first environmentTroubleshoot and optimise data performance issuesCollaborate with BI, IT, and business stakeholdersContribute to data platform architecture and best practices
Must-Have Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with:SnowflakeDBTAWS Serverless Data Lake FrameworkAdvanced SQL and data modelling skillsProven experience building end-to-end data pipelinesExperience working in cloud-based data environmentsStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skills4+ years’ experience in Data Engineering / BI
Nice to HavePower BI or Tableau experienceExposure to CI/CD, DevOps or DataOps practicesExperience with GitLab or similar platformsDomain experience in finance, retail, or supply chainRelevant certifications (AWS, Snowflake)
