Lead Educator- Diploma in Early Childhood

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Educator with a Diploma in Early Childhood to join our growing team at Kin Early Education- Healesville. This full-time role will see you taking the lead in creating engaging learning experiences, while also mentoring and supporting our wider early years team.

What you'll be doing

• Plan, implement and evaluate high-quality early learning programs that align with the National Quality Standards

• Provide a nurturing, play-based environment that supports the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of children

• Observe and document children's learning and development, using this to inform future programming

• Build strong relationships with families and collaborate with them to support each child's individual needs

• Mentor and guide junior educators, modelling best practice in early childhood education

• Ensure the centre's policies, procedures and compliance requirements are upheld at all times

What we're looking for

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an early childhood educator, with demonstrated expertise in leading a team

• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

• A deep passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the highest quality care and learning experiences

• Current First Aid and CPR certification, as well as a valid Working with Children Check
