About the role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Educator with a Diploma in Early Childhood to join our growing team at Kin Early Education- Healesville. This full-time role will see you taking the lead in creating engaging learning experiences, while also mentoring and supporting our wider early years team.
What you'll be doing
Plan, implement and evaluate high-quality early learning programs that align with the National Quality Standards
Provide a nurturing, play-based environment that supports the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of children
Observe and document children's learning and development, using this to inform future programming
Build strong relationships with families and collaborate with them to support each child's individual needs
Mentor and guide junior educators, modelling best practice in early childhood education
Ensure the centre's policies, procedures and compliance requirements are upheld at all times
What we're looking for
A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Minimum 3 years' experience as an early childhood educator, with demonstrated expertise in leading a team
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
A deep passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the highest quality care and learning experiences
Current First Aid and CPR certification, as well as a valid Working with Children Check
