About Our Role

This role will include highly varied geotechnical work, on small to very large-scale projects, across a number of disciplines such as multi-storey buildings, industrial and commercial facilities, transport, ports & maritime and energy and water infrastructure projects. We're looking for versatile people able to assist with liaising with clients, writing proposals, geotechnical reporting and geological models and design and documentation for foundations, retaining walls, earthworks, slope stability and rock mapping and maritime structures. You will be responsible for the development, design and management of geotechnical projects from start to end. The position may also require field work and intra-state and interstate travel for short periods.

About You

Degree in Civil or Geological Engineering. Chartered engineer would be an advantageExtensive relevant technical & commercial experience in a similar role, including experience in the design, engineering, and commissioning of geotechnical engineering projects and familiarity with geotechnical conditions Australia wideDemonstrated project and people leadership skillsAbility to be proactive and implement change effectivelyAbility to build strong, professional relationshipsHigh proficiency with MS Office and a range of specialist geotechnical software;Excellent written and verbal communication skillsCritical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
