About the role
Shire of Mundaring is seeking a passionate and community focussed individual to support the delivery of high quality early childhood programs and family services at the Midvale Hub Child and Parent Centre (CPC) on a 12-month maternity leave cover contract. The CPC works collaboratively with all stakeholders through the Midvale Hub's integrated service model to help families to grow, learn and thrive.
Working alongside the Coordinator Child and Parent Centre, you will help lead and guide the CPC team and work with the local community to improve health, education and wellbeing outcomes for families in the CPC catchment area.
About the Role
• assist with coordinating programs, team activities and partner service delivery
• support compliance with the Child and Parent Centre Guidelines, the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements
• contribute to child development programs, parenting education and family support initiatives
• build strong relationships with partner organisations within an integrated service model
• foster a positive team culture and support continuous improvement initiatives
Ideally you should possess:
• qualifications in Children's Services, Education, Human Service (or related discipline)
• leadership, community engagement and communication skills
• a proven track record of working collaboratively in the community with a variety of stakeholders to improve outcomes for a diverse range of families and children
• availability to work 7.30am-3.30pm (with a 30-minute lunch break)
