What You’ll Be Doing

As a Category Assistant, you'll provide day-to-day support to the Senior Category Manager while coordinating activities across product management, category planning, supplier engagement and project delivery.

You'll collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Purchasing and Supplier partners to help bring category initiatives and product programs to life.

Responsibilities

• Support category strategies, reviews and product lifecycle activities
• Coordinate product launches, supplier information and stakeholder communications
• Maintain category data and provide reporting and commercial insights
• Assist with market research, analysis and category planning
• Build strong relationships across suppliers and internal teams
• Drive projects and continuous improvement initiatives to successful outcomes

What We’re Looking for

You're a proactive and organised professional who enjoys working with data, products and stakeholders. You're eager to learn, take ownership and build a long-term career in Category Management.

You'll bring:

• Experience in a Category Assistant, Product Coordinator, Purchasing, Merchandising or similar support role
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• A positive, proactive approach and willingness to learn and grow
