Estimator – Civil & Mining

KLF Contracts is seeking an experienced and motivated Estimator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator with civil construction experience to play a key role in pricing and securing new projects across Western Australia.

About the Role

Working closely with our management and project teams, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders and estimates for civil and mining projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing tender documentation, drawings and specifications

• Preparing detailed project estimates and costings

• Preparing take-offs and quantities

• Obtaining and assessing subcontractor and supplier pricing

• Developing labour, plant, material and subcontractor costs

• Identifying project risks, exclusions and opportunities

• Preparing tender submissions and supporting documentation

• Liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors

• Assisting with project handovers following successful tenders

• Maintaining estimating records and pricing databases
