Private House - Maintenance and Outdoor / Garden Attendant

A high-end private residence in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs is seeking a reliable, discreet and hands-on House & Maintenance / Yard Attendant to support the day-to-day operation of the home.

This role reports directly to the Estate Manager and involves a combination of general support of household duties, property maintenance and garden/outdoor care. The successful candidate will be practical, proactive and take pride in maintaining a private residence to a high standard both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Duties

• Conduct routine property checks

• Perform minor repairs and general upkeep

• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks

• Maintain tools and equipment

Outdoor and Garden Work

• General yard work including mowing, edging, trimming and leaf clearing

• Maintain lawns, garden beds and outdoor areas

• Ensure driveways, pathway and entertaining areas are clean and well-presented

General House Duties

• Assist with general household tasks as required

• Maintain presentation of internal living areas

• Support with event preparation and general home organisation

• Coordinate trades and service providers as directed

 Koi Fish & Pond Care

• Daily feeding and monitoring of koi fish

• Maintain pond cleanliness and filtration systems

• Monitor water condition and coordinate servicing if required

Pet Care

• Daily dog walking

• Feeding and general care

• Assist with vet visits when required

About You

• Previous experience in a private home or property maintenance role preferred

• Strong practical maintenance skills

• Comfortable performing physical outdoor work

• Experience with pond or koi fish care an advantage

• Reliable, trustworthy and professional

• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence

• Police check required and medical assessment as part of pre-employment checks.
