About the role
Leverage your financial skills and strategic acumen to support the delivery of life-course changing early learning for the children and families of Melbourne’s diverse western suburbs.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial health of our network of 41 kindergartens and childcare centres and leading our expansion strategy in Melbourne’s fast-growing western suburbs.
With the Victorian Government’s nation-leading ‘Best Start, Best Life’ policy, free universal education for every 3-year-old and 4-year-old is becoming a reality. BPA’s CFO will play a key role in ensuring our organisation delivers its part in this ambitious goal while remaining financially sustainable.
BPA is undertaking a substantial transformation program to bring its systems and processes up to a higher-level. An appetite for contributing to this program and driving change across our 41 centres is essential.
BPA has a proud history of providing truly excellent early education and care to the diverse communities of Melbourne’s West.
For us, the bottom line is safe, inclusive and equitable early learning. A non-profit organisation led by a skills-based board, our purpose is to support every child to flourish in safe, accessible, equitable and culturally-responsive early education and care, regardless of their family background or circumstances.
We pride ourselves on the quality of the early learning we provide: 70% of our centres are rated “Exceeding”, the highest level obtainable under the National Quality Standard.
A considered cover letter will be an important part of your application.
We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
