About the role
The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for planning inspections, day to day repairs and maintenance, responding to emergencies and executing scheduled preventative maintenance. This role will also be responsible for security co-ordination on site.
Key responsibilities
Planning of inspections, day-to-day repairs and maintenance, respond to emergencies and execute preventative maintenance
Oversee site operations to ensure uninterrupted services and collaborate with teams for optimal work schedules
Co-ordination of security system on site, including the issue of security fobs to approved personnel in conjunction with the designated security provider on site and people & culture
Work as part of an experienced maintenance team and deliver exceptional results
Assistance with ensuring that preventative maintenance is performed in accordance with schedule
Assistance with the management of the site's maintenance budget and spending
Assist with the implementation of plant automation changes
Assist with managing the staff's activity relating to trouble shooting, repairs, and facility improvements
Schedule the implementation of continuous improvement upgrades as required in conjunction with the Capital Works team
About you
3-5 years Maintenance Planning experience with a strong focus on FMCG assets
Contractor management experience in commercial or industrial building environments
Relevant tertiary qualification – Engineering Degree, trade qualification, or equivalent
Familiar with office equipment maintenance (UPS, HVAC, electrical boards etc)
Experience within compliance, sustainability and strong knowledge of Fire, Mechanical and Electrical Services
Proficiency in Microsoft office and CMMS (Pronto exp. highly desirable)
Skilled in trouble shooting plant and equipment
Proven track record with developing teams, increasing employee skill level in the area of reducing machine down time
Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices
Solid understanding of OH & S & EPA regulations
