Role Description We're seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead estimating and tendering across our mining and utilities portfolio.This is a hands-on estimating role for someone who knows how to build first-principles estimates, manage tenders and help win work.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead estimates, tenders and proposals from enquiry to submission.Develop accurate first-principles estimates for labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.Leverage industry relationships to identify opportunities and support business growth.Build and maintain strong supplier and subcontractor networks.Develop methodologies, qualifications, assumptions and clarification registers.Identify commercial risks and opportunities.Support contract negotiations and project handover.Mentor and develop junior estimating resources.Improve estimating systems, cost libraries and benchmarking.
About YouYou are an experienced estimator with a proven track record pricing Piping infrastructure projects across the mining, utilities or water sectors.
You will have:7+ years estimating experience within HDPE, Steel & PVC pipelines across mining & utilities Strong first-principles estimating capability.Strong commercial judgement and construction knowledge.Established supplier and subcontractor relationships.The ability to independently manage tenders from enquiry through to submission.
Highly RegardedMine dewatering, borefield, water or tailings infrastructure experience.HDPE, PVC and steel pipeline experience.Water Corporation or major utilities experience.Existing relationships with WA utilities, mining contractors, suppliers and subcontractors.
