About the role:

Juniper is seeking caring and reliable Multiskilled Domestic Team Member to join our dedicated team at Hayloft, our warm and welcoming residential aged care home in Martin.

This hands on, people focused role rotates between cleaning, laundry, and catering duties to help create a safe, comfortable, and homely environment for our residents. Working closely with our care and hospitality teams, you will ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, assist with meal preparation and service, and contribute to residents’ overall comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.

The suitable candidate must be available to commit to the below kitchenhand shifts:

Week 1

Monday 7:30am-14:00pm

Tuesday 07:30am-14:00pm or 13:00pm-18:00pm

Thursday 15:00pm-19:00pm

Friday 07:30am-14:00pm

Saturday 15:00pm-19:00pm

Week 2

Tuesday 7:30am-14:00pm

Friday 7:30am-15:00pm

Saturday 7:30am-15:00pm

Sunday 7:30am-14:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning: Keep residents’ rooms and common areas spotless, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces.
• Laundry: Wash, dry, iron, and return personal and facility laundry while following infection control procedures.
• Catering: Assist in preparing and serving meals, setting tables, and ensuring meals meet residents’ dietary needs.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with care and hospitality staff to ensure residents feel respected, valued, and at home.
• Safety: Follow workplace health, safety, and infection control guidelines at all times.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in cleaning, catering, & laundry services (aged care or healthcare preferred)
• Knowledge of hygiene standards, food safety, and infection control (desirable)
• Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain (preferred)
• Passionate about helping older people live with dignity and comfort
• Physically fit to meet the demands of the role
• Flexible to work across cleaning, laundry, and catering duties
• A great communicator who can build rapport with residents and colleagues
