As our business continues to grow and expand, we're looking for a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing team at our new Queanbeyan branch.

Any qualified light vehicle or plant mechanics looking for a change are also encouraged to apply! Wagga Trucks can assist you to transfer your skills to a heavy vehicle qualification with as little as only 45 days of TAFE to complete.

 Main duties:

• Diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspensions

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections

• Identify and rectify mechanical faults using diagnostic tools and equipment

• Maintain accurate service records and job cards

• Comply with all workshop safety standards and procedures

• Liaise with other team members and departments as needed

Requirements:

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent)

• Experience working on a range of heavy trucks

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities

• A commitment to safe work practices and quality standards
