Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team at Hotel Indigo. As a Guest Service Agent, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience, ensuring that all guests receive outstanding service in line with our core values. We want someone who is passionate, energetic, and committed to going the extra mile for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide an exceptional first impression by welcoming guests and checking them in efficiently.
• Deliver prompt, courteous, and professional service, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain confidentiality of guest information.
• Upsell services such as late checkout, room upgrades, and minibar items.
• Maintain a positive and energetic attitude, ensuring guests feel valued and cared for.
• Keep up-to-date on local events, dining options, and attractions to share recommendations with guests.
• Collaborate with colleagues and various departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Adhere to all company policies, including health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Attend regular training and development sessions to continuously improve your skills.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a customer service or hotel role is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of Opera or other hotel management software is a plus.
• A passion for delivering superior customer service and attention to detail.
• Positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented approach.
• Must meet the appropriate legal requirements to work in Australia.
