Lead with Purpose. Inspire with Impact.Marrickville Rd Preschool is seeking a passionate and experienced Director / Nominated Supervisor to join our dedicated team 4 days per week.

About the RoleAs the Nominated Supervisor and Director, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the daily operations of the service, maintaining regulatory compliance and supporting high-quality educational practices.
This is a people-focused leadership role. You will work closely with the team both on and off the floor, providing support, guidance and mentoring while helping create a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
You will also build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community, creating trust, connection and meaningful community involvement.
This role is well suited to a confident, approachable and collaborative leader who is passionate about mentoring educators, building a strong team culture and delivering excellence in early childhood education.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day operations of the service
Ensure compliance with the NQF, Child Safe Standards and QIP
Support and mentor educators to achieve high-quality outcomes
Work collaboratively on and off the floor, including assisting with lunch-break coverage when required
Manage administrative responsibilities, including enrolments, records, compliance documentation and reporting
Maintain accurate records through the OWNA platform
Build strong and positive relationships with children, families and the community
Foster a positive, respectful and collaborative team culture
Support rosters, staffing requirements and service operations
Contribute to continuous improvement and quality outcomes
Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)
Previous experience in as a Director in an Early Childhood Service
Strong knowledge of the NQF
Experience using OWNA or a similar childcare management system
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
A genuine passion for people, leadership and early childhood education
