Sous Chef – Central Production Kitchen

We are a fast-growing production kitchen supplying high-quality food to multiple sites and catering clients. We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to support daily operations, lead production teams, and ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across all output.

About the Role

As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to manage large-scale production, oversee teams, and ensure all food leaving the kitchen meets our standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations

- Lead and supervise production teams across multiple sections

- Manage production runs to meet volume and deadlines

- Maintain high food quality, consistency, and presentation

- Ensure food safety, HACCP, and WHS compliance

- Assist with rostering, stock control, and ordering

- Train and develop kitchen staff

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef ready to step up

- Experience in high-volume or production kitchens (highly regarded)

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Excellent organisation and time management

- Solid understanding of food safety standards

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured environment
