Position Summary
The Software Engineer (RPA Developer) is responsible for analyzing business processes, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions. The role involves software engineering principles to build scalable, reliable, and efficient automation applications that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort across business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and identify opportunities for process automation.
Design and develop RPA solutions using industry-standard platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Power Automate, or other automation technologies.
Create technical design documents, process workflows, and solution architecture specifications.
Develop reusable software components, libraries, and automation frameworks.
Perform coding, debugging, testing, and deployment of automation solutions.
Integrate RPA solutions with enterprise applications, databases, APIs, web services, and cloud platforms.
Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production support activities.
Monitor automation performance and implement enhancements to improve reliability and scalability.
Troubleshoot software defects and resolve production incidents within SLA requirements.
Apply software development best practices including version control, code reviews, CI/CD, and secure coding standards.
Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver automation projects.
Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support manuals.
Ensure compliance with organizational security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
Research and evaluate emerging automation and AI technologies to improve business processes and system efficiency.
