Catering Assistant / Kitchen Hand - Uniting - Wesley Heights, Manly NSW

Cater Care is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic, hard working Catering Assistant / Kitchen Hand that prides themselves on working well in a team environment at our Aged Care site in Manly, NSW.

Roster:

Thursday and Friday Up to 20 hours per week

What this role involves:

• Assisting with food preparation
• Assist Chefs with packing away deliveries,empty bin rubbish removal during shift
• Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
• Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
• Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
• Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
• Previous experience in medical / hospital sector would be well regarded
