About the role
We are seeking to establish a pool of Deputy Principals for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Glencoe Primary School (PS), situated in Halls Head, Mandurah, was established in 1981. Over its 40+ year history, Glencoe PS has built a strong reputation within the school community, for its dedicated and committed team, outstanding levels of pastoral care, and close links with families and community groups.

Our school grounds are attractive, featuring well-kept gardens and highly practical teaching and learning spaces. The school has a well-resourced library, purpose-built, dedicated Science and Computer laboratories, Art Room, Music Room, two under-covered areas, a school canteen, vegetable gardens, and nature playgrounds. There are also extensive grassed play areas, hard courts for basketball, and a range of contemporary play facilities.
At Glencoe PS, we promote an enabling environment for teachers, which supports personal and professional growth, and offers a wide range of leadership opportunities. Our staff are our greatest asset.

The suitable applicants will ideally exemplify exceptional leadership qualities and exhibit a deep commitment to overseeing and supporting an inclusive, differentiated learning program of high quality. You will ideally possess a proven track record in systematically analysing school data, providing high-quality in-class instructional support, and facilitating consistent teaching programs and practices throughout the school.
While specific elements of the Deputy Principal's portfolio will be negotiated with the school leadership team, experience in leading improvement initiatives across the entire school to enhance whole-school learning will be highly advantageous.
