We are looking for a reliable, energetic and caring Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team on weekdays from 9:00am – 2:00pm.

We’re excited as the new owners of an existing business to bring fresh energy, new ideas and an even bigger focus on creating an amazing experience for every dog that walks through our doors.

As part of this exciting new chapter, we’re expanding our dog daycare services, with a strong focus on safety, fun, socialisation and enrichment.

Our daycare is designed to give dogs the opportunity to make new friends, build confidence, burn off energy and enjoy their day in a safe and supervised environment. From running and playing with their furry friends to cooling off and having fun in our swimming pool. 

We believe every dog deserves a daycare experience that is safe, enjoyable and suited to their individual personality. Our team is dedicated to creating positive social experiences while ensuring the dogs in our care are happy, comfortable and well supervised.

Your role will include:

• 🐶 Supervising and interacting with dogs throughout the day

• 🐾 Assisting with dog socialisation and positive group play

• 🏊 Helping supervise dogs using our swimming pool

• 🍽️ Preparing and feeding dogs their lunch

• 🧹 Cleaning and maintaining daycare areas, yards and equipment

• 💧 Ensuring dogs have fresh water and a clean, safe environment

• ❤️ Monitoring dogs’ behaviour and wellbeing throughout the day

• 🛁 Assisting with general care and other tasks as required

• 🤝 Working as part of a team to ensure every dog has a happy, safe and enjoyable experience

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine love and passion for dogs.

• Is confident and comfortable handling dogs of different sizes and personalities.

• Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic.

• Is physically fit and happy working on their feet.

• Is confident around pools and able to swim.

• Is comfortable with cleaning and getting their hands dirty!

• Can work well independently and as part of a team.

• Has good communication skills and a positive attitude.

• Previous experience in dog daycare, kennels, grooming, veterinary care or animal care is highly regarded, but training can be provided for the right person.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–2:00pm

Position: Part-time or casual

Location: Adamstown
