Event Chef De Partie

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist in planning and executing menu items for various events, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
• Overseeing food preparation and cooking during events, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times.
• Assisting in inventory management, including stock control, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste.
• Training and supervising junior kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food production and adherence to recipes.

Required skills

• Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in events catering
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures including pastry skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong leadership and communication skills within a team environment
• Adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
• Attention to detail and precision in executing recipes and plating dishes

Required experiences

• Prior experience working in a high-volume events setting
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing a wide range of cuisines for large-scale events
• Experience collaborating with event planners, chefs, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of event menus
• Familiarity with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs within an events kitchen environment
• Track record of maintaining quality and consistency in food production while adhering to event timelines
