About the role
Paediatric Speech Pathologist | Perth WA | Family-Focused Private Practice Early intervention & school-age caseload | Full-time or part-time
Mediix Recruitment is partnering with a warm, family-focused paediatric practice in Perth looking to welcome another Speech Pathologist to their clinical team. The practice has a strong reputation among local paediatricians, GPs and schools, and offers the kind of setting where clinicians can do genuinely good work without the pressure of a corporate-scale caseload.
About The Role
You'll work primarily with children from early intervention through to upper primary, with scope to take on adolescent clients depending on your interests. The referral base is broad — early language delay, ASD, DLD, articulation and phonology, fluency, AAC, and school-age literacy and social communication.
Day to day, you will:
Complete comprehensive paediatric assessments and formulate clinical impressionsDevelop individualised, family-centred therapy plans grounded in current evidenceDeliver 1:1 sessions in clinic, with community and school visits where appropriatePartner with parents and carers through coaching and home-programmingLiaise with paediatricians, teachers, OTs and psychologists involved in shared careComplete NDIS reporting, progress reviews and clinical documentation

About You
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech PathologySpeech Pathology Australia (CPSP) eligible or certifiedGenuine interest in working with children and their familiesNew graduates with strong paediatric placement experience are warmly encouraged to applyConfident with family coaching and parent-mediated approachesStrong clinical documentation and interpersonal skillsCurrent WA driver's licence and reliable vehicleWWCC and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
