WMIT is conveniently located in the Melbourne CBD. We are a leading provider of vocational education and training in the Childcare, Community, Aged Care, Construction and Business industries. Our mission is to inspire and empower individuals to achieve their professional potential through innovative training and assessment practices
We are currently seeking qualified trainers and assessors for:
Diploma of Leadership and Management
Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management
Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)
What you'll be doing
Deliver high-quality, engaging, and industry-relevant training to students in both classroom and practical settings.
Provide students with clear, constructive feedback and support to ensure successful learning outcomes.
Assess student competency in line with training package requirements and industry standards.
Ensure training delivery and assessment is aligned with current industry practices and legislative requirements.
Support the continuous improvement of training programs with industry trends and developments to ensure programs remain relevant and high-quality.
What we're looking for
Relevant Vocational Competence in the qualifications above
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Trainer and Assessor in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse learners
Strong organisational and time management skills to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with industry changes
