About This Role
Your new role:
As a Registered Nurse In The Cancer Day Therapy Unit, You Will Provide Safe, Compassionate And Person-centred Care To Patients Receiving Oncology And Haematology Treatment. You Will
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology and haematology patients.Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care.Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.Support safe clinical practice, quality improvement and evidence-based care.
About You
You are a compassionate and accountable Registered Nurse who is committed to delivering high-quality cancer care. You bring strong clinical judgement, effective communication and a willingness to continually develop your oncology and haematology knowledge. You will have:
Demonstrated nursing knowledge and experience, ideally with at least one year of postgraduate oncology/haematology experience.A strong commitment to safe, compassionate and individualised patient care.The ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice, professional development, quality improvement and clinical leadership.

About Us
The satellite health centre is also known as Maroo-goodji-ba, a name chosen by the community and local Traditional Owners and Elders means ‘peace, wellbeing and place of red earth' in the Yagarabul language.
The satellite health centre treats minor illnesses and injuries that aren't life-threatening and also have a range of specialist services, including kidney dialysis, cancer day therapy and mental, allied health and outpatient services.
