VLI Conveyors is growing, and we're looking for experienced people to join our Kalgoorlie team.

We have multiple permanent full-time opportunities available across our growing service team, including:

• Service Supervisor

• Conveyor Technician

You don't need to have experience across every discipline. We are interested in people with strong experience in one or more of these areas and will match the position to your skills and experience.

Conveyor Technician / Belt Splicer / Rubber Liner

We are looking for experienced and motivated people to join our Kalgoorlie service team.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience as a:

• Conveyor Technician

• Conveyor Belt Technician

• Belt Splicer

• Rubber Liner

• Rubber Technician

• Conveyor Mechanic

• Mechanical Fitter with conveyor experience

• Mining Maintenance Technician

• Industrial Maintenance Technician

Your experience may include:

• Conveyor installation, maintenance and repairs

• Conveyor belt change-outs

• Hot and cold belt splicing

• Steel cord and fabric belt splicing

• Conveyor belt repairs

• Rubber lining and rubber replacement

• Pulley and roller replacement

• Conveyor component installation

• Belt tracking and alignment

• Conveyor inspections

• Fault finding and troubleshooting

• Mechanical maintenance and repairs

• Shutdown and maintenance work

• Workshop-based conveyor repairs and preparation

You do not need experience in every area. If you are highly experienced in belt splicing, rubber lining, conveyor maintenance or mechanical maintenance, we would still like to hear from you.

About You

Experience working in the mining, bulk materials handling or heavy industrial sectors will be highly regarded.

Service Supervisor

We are also seeking an experienced Service Supervisor to lead and coordinate our Kalgoorlie service team.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who understands conveyor systems, mechanical maintenance or mining services and can effectively coordinate people, customers and daily service activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Kalgoorlie service team

• Plan and allocate daily service activities

• Coordinate conveyor maintenance, repairs, installations and shutdown work

• Liaise with customers and internal teams

• Provide technical support and guidance to service personnel

• Assist with fault finding and troubleshooting

• Monitor job progress, productivity and quality

• Ensure work is completed safely and to customer requirements

• Assist with scheduling, resource planning and operational requirements

• Maintain appropriate service and job documentation

• Mentor and develop team members

• Support the Branch Manager with the day-to-day operation of the service department

About You

You will ideally have:

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience

• Strong conveyor, mechanical or mining industry experience

• Good understanding of conveyor systems and bulk materials handling

• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills

• Experience coordinating people, jobs and customer requirements

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A practical, hands-on approach to leadership

• A strong commitment to safety and quality

A candidate with strong technical conveyor experience who is ready to step into a supervisory role will also be considered.
