Front End Manager - T-Bones Fresh Food Market

About the role

T-Bones Fresh Food Market is looking for an experienced and motivated Front End Manager to take ownership of the front-end department at the busy Aspley store. This is a hands-on management position requiring someone who can confidently lead a team, maintain high standards and ensure the front end of the store runs smoothly every day. You'll work closely with store management while taking responsibility for your department, making decisions and giving clear direction to the team.

The salary package is negotiable and will be aligned with the successful applicant’s experience and capability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the front end and registers

• Lead, supervise and support the front-end team

• Ensure registers are appropriately staffed throughout the day

• Coordinate staff breaks and respond to changing workloads

• Train and develop new and existing team members

• Maintain a high standard of customer service

• Ensure the front end is clean, organised and well presented

• Oversee cash handling and register procedures

• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues when required

• Monitor staff performance and address issues as they arise

About you

• Previous supermarket, retail or front-end management/supervisory experience

• Confident leading a team, including junior staff

• Organised and able to manage a busy department

• Takes initiative and doesn't need to be constantly directed

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Reliable, approachable and fair

• Able to confidently make decisions and solve problems

• Willing to be hands-on and work alongside the team

• Flexibility to work across trading hours, including weekends

• Experience in a busy supermarket or fresh food environment highly regarded
