Learn the specialist skills used to connect, test and repair Australia's fibre networks.

You'll learn:

• Fibre splicing and termination

• Fibre testing and fault finding

• Network testing and diagnostics

• Fibre hauling and installation

• NBN and major infrastructure networks

Career potential: Fibre Technician → Fibre Splicer → Tester → Crew Leader → Supervisor

Prefer being outdoors, working with your hands and building things?

Learn to construct the underground infrastructure that telecommunications networks rely on.

You'll learn:

• Pit and pipe construction

• Conduit and underground cable installation

• Excavation and civil works

• Fibre hauling

• Network construction and maintenance

• Working with plant and equipment

Career potential: Civil Technician → Plant Operator → Crew Leader → Supervisor

Because skilled telecommunications workers are in demand.

This is an opportunity to complete your Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology in approximately TWO YEARS – while working full-time and getting paid.

By the time you finish, you could have:

Eligible trainees may be able to access up to $8,000 in Australian Government incentives while completing their traineeship.

And depending on our projects, there are opportunities to earn more through:

Government incentives are subject to individual eligibility and applicable Australian Government programs.

If you're reliable, willing to learn, enjoy hands-on work and aren't afraid of putting in a good day's work, we can teach you the rest.

You'll also need a Driver's Licence and White Card or be willing to obtain.
