Runner Up Rooftop Bar

As a Marketing Manager at Runner Up Rooftop Bar, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute effective marketing strategies to promote our trusty ol' establishment.

You will play a vital role in increasing brand awareness, driving customer engagement, and ultimately contributing to the growth of our business while maintaining our overall vision and ethos. This position requires a creative and analytical mindset, with a strong understanding of various marketing channels, including social media and advertising.

Responsibilities:

1. Content Ideation and Creation:

• Develop creative content concepts across written, visual and multimedia formats to engage Runner Up's target audience.
• Develop and produce video content from concept through to final edit.
• Collaborate with designers and other creatives to produce on-brand graphics, photography and marketing assets.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns across events, promotions and seasonal launches.

2. Social Media Management & Strategy

• Manage and optimise Runner Up Rooftop Bar's social media presence on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Develop and implement effective engagement strategies to drive follower growth, increase interactions, and encourage user-generated content.
• Stay across social media trends and platform algorithms, report on monthly performance and refine strategies based on insights.

3. Email Marketing & CRM

• Develop email marketing campaigns and EDMs using Mailchimp.
• Write engaging email copy, subject lines and preview text.
• Promote events, offers, new menus and venue initiatives through email.
• Manage email marketing schedules and databases.

4. Paid Advertising & Analytics

• Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns across Meta, social media and other relevant digital platforms.
• Identify and explore new paid promotional opportunities to increase awareness, engagement, ticket sales and venue bookings.
• Monitor ad performance, analyse campaign data, and adjust strategies to maximise ROI.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement A/B testing to optimise ad performance.

5. Events, Promotions & Partnerships

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns for events, promotions and seasonal offerings.
• Support the promotion of gigs, DJ events, takeovers, venue hire and special events.
• Work with artists, event partners, local businesses and brands on collaborative marketing opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to leverage key dates, cultural moments and local events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven work experience in marketing, preferably in the hospitality or food and beverage industry.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Experience with content creation and demonstrated creativity in developing engaging content.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with website content management systems.
• Familiarity with online advertising platforms and analytics tools, such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
