Production & Sampling Manager

Purpose of Role:

This role covers two areas: managing production across our Indian factory network, and supporting the

designer with sampling and range planning, alongside general office duties.

1. Production Management

• Run production across 3 Indian factories, keeping oversight of workflow and output at each.

• Ensure all spec sheets are correct and kept up to date.

• Apply working knowledge of garment construction and fit to review specs and production quality.

• Track production against the timeline from order placement through to delivery.

• Liaise with freight forwarders to organise freight into different countries.

• Document all invoices relating to production and freight.

• Negotiate prices with factories.

• Maintain and build relationships and connections with factories.

2. Design & Sampling Support

• Assist the designer with sampling for each collection.

• Follow up printed fabrics through the process from strike-off to sample.

• Follow up new patterns for fit approval.

• Liaise with factories on new samples and pricing.

• Plan collections using Excel spreadsheets.

• Document and create the range plan of fabrics and styles.

• Keep in constant contact with factories and the design team throughout development.

3. Technical Skill Requirements

• Microsoft Office, including Excel.

• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

• Resource management system, CIN 7 with preference

• Product lifecycle management (PLM) system.

4. General Office Duties

• General office duties as required.

Working Arrangement

This role is required for 2–3 full days a week in office in South Yarra. Salary is pro rata.
