The Role

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a high-performing software engineering team.

This is a hands-on role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications and RESTful services using modern Java technologies. You will play a key role in building scalable microservices, delivering high-quality software solutions, and supporting the ongoing evolution of cloud-native and distributed application platforms.

The ideal candidate will bring strong Core Java development experience, expertise in Spring Boot and REST API development, and a passion for delivering clean, maintainable, and high-performing software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java applications and REST APIs.Build scalable microservices using Spring Boot.Design robust application and data models.Apply Java design patterns and coding best practices.Manage builds and dependencies using Maven.Troubleshoot and optimise application performance.Collaborate with developers, QA, and business stakeholders.Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Need

5+ years' Java development experience.Strong Core Java skills.Experience building REST APIs.Hands-on Spring and Spring Boot experience.Solid understanding of microservices architecture.Strong OOP and data modelling knowledge.Experience with Maven.Knowledge of Java design patterns.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

Docker and Kubernetes experience.Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.CI/CD and DevOps experience.Git, GitLab, or Bitbucket knowledge.SQL and relational database experience.Experience with Kafka or messaging platforms.Automated testing and Agile delivery experience.
