Holmesglen Private are on the lookout for a Registered Nurse to join their ED department on a part time or full time basis.

Holmesglen Private Hospital is looking to employ Full or Part time Registered Nurses with emergency experience or post graduate qualifications in emergency nursing or critical care nursing who are seeking a new challenge.

The Hospital includes; 147 beds across 5 Wards providing Medical, Surgical and Rehabilitation Services, combined Intensive Care and Coronary Care Unit, Emergency Department, 7 Operating Suites, Catheter Laboratory, Day of Surgery Admission and Day Infusion/Oncology Services.

Our rostering is flexible over 24hours with staggard start times assisting staff in having meaningful work/life balance to suit individual needs. At Holmesglen we promote self-rostering reduce fatigue and assist with the demands of Emergency work.

You will work closely with consultant doctors who collaborate with the entire team for best care.

As a Registered Nurse – Emergency Department your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
• Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care 
• Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
• Act as a role model for Safe Practice
• Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum 2+ years working in Emergency care
• Working with Children check (if relevant)
• Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
• Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
• Demonstrated experience in emergency or critical care nursing
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
• Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
• Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team

• Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused

  Clinical Nurse applicants must have advanced clinical skills and at 5 years’ nursing experience. Post-graduate qualifications required/preferred

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2021 - 2025" (salaries range between $40.42 to $53.69 for Registered Nurse and $55.84 for CNS)
