Your opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to play a key leadership role in the delivery of a major data centre project, supporting the next wave of digital and AI-enabled growth. This is an opportunity to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams on one of the industry's most complex and technically demanding project environments.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will provide engineering leadership across the project lifecycle, ensuring design, technical and delivery outcomes are achieved efficiently and to the highest standards. Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams, you'll help drive successful project outcomes from design through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

Leading the engineering function across the project, providing technical direction and oversightExperience with engineering and design management, testing and commissioning and completion of mission-critical buildings is highly desirableManaging and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve project objectivesOverseeing design development, technical reviews and engineering assurance processesWorking closely with clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to drive project outcomesIdentifying and managing technical risks, opportunities and engineering challengesSupporting project planning, delivery, commissioning and handover activitiesEnsuring compliance with project requirements, standards and industry best practiceMentoring and developing engineering team members while fostering a collaborative project culture

What You'll Bring

Significant experience leading engineering teams on major buildings, infrastructure or data centre projectsStrong technical knowledge across building services, design management and project deliveryExperience managing complex stakeholder relationships in large-scale project environmentsA proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive high-performance outcomesStrong commercial, risk management and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent communication and leadership skillsExperience delivering projects through design, construction, commissioning and handoverRelevant engineering qualifications
