Electrical Engineer (New Graduate/Intermediate)

This is an exciting opportunity for a New Graduate/Intermediate Electrical Engineer or Mechatronics Engineer to gain hands-on experience in design, prototyping, and troubleshooting across a range of technologies.

What You Will Be Doing:
As part of our Electrical Team, you will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance electronic solutions within our products. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing electrical circuits for DC/DC converters, actuator drivers, sensor interfacing and Battery Management Systems (BMS)

• Developing circuits for digital wired and wireless communications, including BLE and RFID/NFC

• Writing embedded software for prototyping, sensor integration, and proof-of-concept development

• Troubleshooting and optimising designs to ensure compliance with industry standards

• Hands-on tasks such as soldering, testing, and debugging circuit boards

• Assisting in the development of technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and manufacturing instructions

What We're Looking For:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent)

• Experience in electrical circuit design, PCB layout, and prototyping

• Hands-on skills in soldering, testing, and troubleshooting electronic systems

• Familiarity with KiCad, Altium, or similar PCB design software

• Exposure to wireless communications (BLE, RFID/NFC) or RF-adjacent design is a plus

• Exposure to embedded RTOS environments (e.g. Zephyr) is a plus but not required

• Exposure to EMC/compliance testing (CE, FCC, RCM) is a plus

• Passion for innovation, problem-solving, and continuous learning

• Interest or background in healthcare technology is a plus

• Must be based in Brisbane and able to work onsite
