Quite literally one of the grandest hotels in Australia, the Lancemore Mansion Hotel Werribee Park is a cosmopolitan haven of tranquility and charm. Set amongst 10 stunning acres of formal English gardens, expect grand architectural details, 91 curated suites, conference and meeting facilities, wedding and event spaces, Joseph’s restaurant and bar, a signature L.M. Spa, indoor magnesium pool and gym. Mansion Hotel & Spa is currently seeking an experienced fine dining wait staff to join our guest focused team in Joseph's Restaurant.

About The Role

Welcome guests warmly and provide professional, personalised service throughout their dining experience.Set and maintain tables according to fine dining standards and restaurant procedures.Present menus, explain dishes, and provide detailed information about ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens.Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams.Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food, wine, cocktails, and other beverages.Serve food and beverages with proper fine dining etiquette and attention to presentation.Monitor guests throughout their meal and anticipate their needs without being intrusive.Handle special requests, dietary requirements, and guest concerns professionally.Maintain excellent knowledge of the restaurant's menu, wine list, and daily specials. Coordinate effectively with kitchen, bar, sommelier, and other service staff.Process payments accurately and efficiently.Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the dining area and service stations.Follow all food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety, and responsible service procedures.Assist with opening and closing duties, including preparation and resetting of the restaurant.Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented workplace.

About You

Previous experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or high-end restaurant service preferred.Valid Victorian RSA Certificate.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong knowledge of fine dining service standards and etiquette.Good knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service.Excellent attention to detail and presentation.Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.Strong time-management and multitasking abilities.Professional appearance and positive attitude.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
