We wish to complement our existing Fulton Hogan Utilities team with experienced Environmental Advisor to join our 10 year program of works for the City of Gold Coast. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further within a vibrant delivery team that is proud to partner with our client to deliver world class utilities services for the customers and communities within which we operate.
In this role you'll be responsible for:Contributing to the achievement of the contracts environmental & sustainability objectives and targetsOpportunity to closely liaise with client, designers and delivery teamsManaging the development of environmental project delivery documentation, including Construction Environment Management Plans (CEMP), Environmental Work Method Statements (EWMS) and Environmental Control Maps (ECM) to ensure compliance with the project Planning Approval DocumentationManaging, mentoring and coaching the works delivery team in all environmental topicsCarrying out regular site inspections to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with CEMP/EWMS/ECMManaging environmental incidents/non-conformances, investigations and close-out. How you'll connect to the role:Tertiary qualified in Environmental Science or other related disciplineA minimum of 3+ years' industry experienceKnowledge of environmental constraints, issues and management principles applicable to infrastructure corridorsExperience in Commonwealth and State environmental legislationQualification or training in incident investigation and close-outExperience on construction projects in water infrastructure, including Water Treatment Plants / Waste Water InfrastructureAdopting and driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely 2.0 Culture.
