Lasers in Medicine is looking for a full-time Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join our clinical team.

This role is built around medical skin, laser and vein work. If you have found yourself drawn to the technology, the treatment planning and the clinical reasoning behind aesthetic medicine, this position is designed for you.

We are a doctor-led clinic, and our nurses work closely with our medical team on treatment planning, procedural assisting and continuity of patient care. You will need clinical curiosity, sound assessment skills and a real interest in learning the science of how these devices work.

About the role

Working alongside our doctors and clinical team, you will care for patients across a broad range of skin, vascular and aesthetic concerns.

Day to day, the role involves:

- Patient consultation, assessment and treatment planning within your scope of practice

- Delivering laser and energy-based treatments — including vascular, pigment, resurfacing, acne and skin rejuvenation modalities

- Assisting with procedural vein work, including endovenous laser ablation, sclerotherapy and ultrasound-guided procedures

- Pre-procedural preparation, aseptic technique, compression and post-procedural review

- Wound care and management of patients through ablative and downtime-associated recovery

- Clinical photography, documentation and outcome tracking

- Supporting patients across their full treatment journey, not just the individual appointment

You will train on and work with a comprehensive platform of technologies, including fractional and non-ablative resurfacing, picosecond, vascular, ablative erbium, and dedicated acne devices.

About you

We are looking for someone who brings clinical rigour and warmth in equal measure.

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse

- Sound assessment, clinical reasoning and documentation skills

- Genuine interest in dermatology, laser physics, phlebology and skin health

- Confidence with procedural work and aseptic technique

- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centred manner

- Strong attention to detail

- A collaborative approach within a multidisciplinary team

- Commitment to evidence-led, ethical practice and ongoing learning

Experience with laser and energy-based devices, procedural vein work or dermatology is well regarded, but not essential. We will teach the right person.
