Enrolled Nurse Day Surgery - Casual

About the role: We have a great opportunity for enthusiastic Enrolled Nurses to join our Day Surgery team on a Casual basis. Monday to Friday flexible roster, with occasional weekend shifts available.  Duties and responsibilities: This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes. Deliver evidence-based care: Monitor patient wellbeing and administer safe, high-quality treatment tailored to each stage of their hospital stay. Prepare for safe surgery: Ensure the facility, equipment and clinical environment are ready to support safe, efficient surgical care. Prioritise and monitor patient safety: Maintain clear team communication, assess patient progress, respond promptly to changes or complications, and keep patient safety central to all decisions. Support recovery at home: Provide clear education, guidance and reassurance so patients feel confident managing their recovery after discharge. Guide and support colleagues: Supervise and support on shift, fostering confidence, teamwork and safe practice. Champion improvement: Promote continuous improvement, safety and excellence across all areas of the hospital. About You: You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare.
