Child & Family Psychologist | Build & Lead the Service | Assessment + Therapy

You love this work, you're good at it and you'd like to do it somewhere that trusts and empowers you.

You can run an autism assessment independently and stand behind what you write. But assessment isn't the whole job for you, and it isn't here either. Plenty of your week will be therapy - helping children and families do the hard work, long after the report is filed.

Your role

We're a multidisciplinary paediatric practice in Parramatta. Occupational therapy, speech pathology, physiotherapy, music therapy and art therapy, all in one purpose-built 25-room clinic with sensory and play spaces you're welcome to use.

You'd be our psychologist. Assessment where it's needed, ongoing therapy with children and families, joint sessions with our OTs and speechies when that's the right call and scheduled case consultation with our team leaders.

Where this could go

You'd be our only psychologist to start, but it's a starting point, not a ceiling.

If you want to grow this to full time, we'll support that. If you build it to the point where it needs a second psychologist, we'll hire one - and you'll lead them. How far this goes is genuinely up to you, and we'd rather back someone's ambition than manage it.

You won't be doing it alone, either. We have a skilled marketing team who'll get behind the service properly, so you can focus on the clinical work instead of chasing your own referrals.

You'll need

• AHPRA registration

• Genuine autism assessment experience with children, including ADOS-2 (or similar)

• Experience in paediatrics

• A neuroaffirming, strengths-based way of working

• Comfort being the only psych in a room full of other disciplines

• WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening
