About the role
Primary Objective: Speech Pathologists work within regional teams to provide direct service delivery to schools. They work within the Multi-tiered System of Support framework to build capability of educators to support students to maximise their educational outcomes. Speech Pathologists perform environmental assessments with students for using observation and interviews with parents and teachers to plan and implement interventions for students with speech, language and communication concerns that may be having a direct impact on educational outcomes. Several vacancies are available in either Alice Springs, Darwin, Palmerston or Katherine subject to negotiation with the successful applicant. Selection will be made at the P1, P2 or P3 level depending on the experience and qualifications of the successful applicant.
