About the role
Nighshift Supervisor - Mechanical

UGL Industrials are seeking applications from highly skilled and safety focused Mechanical Supervisors for upcoming site-based work in Mount Isa, QLD. Commencing 21 September 2026, this project is expected to run for approximately 4 weeks with 12.5 hour shifts.
To be considered for a role you will require the following skills, experience and attributes:
· Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical
· Flange Management Experience (desirable)
· G1, G8 and G9
· Experience working in a similar role or heavy industrial environment
· Demonstrated experience in workforce allocation and management, conducting pre-starts, toolboxes etc
· Ability to read and interpret schedules and provide accurate schedule updates
· Strong commitment to developing and maintaining a safe working environment
· Ability to prioritise, plan, organise and complete work within established deadlines
· Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels in an informative and positive manner
· Strong client focus and a genuine desire to assist team members
Please note a rigorous pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening would be conducted for short-listed candidates, and that the site also conducts random drug and alcohol testing on an ongoing basis.
