Introduction and Team you will belong to

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Stores person is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient receival, storage, handling, dispatch, and documentation of repair and inventory items. The role supports workshop operations through effective stock control, logistics coordination, system accuracy, and compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

This position is based at our Henderson Service Centre with onsite parking available for all staff. Additionally this role is a Monday – Friday role offering 38 hours per week.

What You’ll Do

Warehouse Operations

• Receive, inspect, load, unload, store, and dispatch repair items and inventory in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
• Accurately verify incoming and outgoing goods against purchase orders, delivery dockets, consignment notes, and system records.
• Pick, issue, and stage parts for workshop use in line with approved pick lists and job requirements.
• Allocate and maintain stock in correct warehouse locations, always ensuring physical and system stock accuracy.
• Complete receipting and dispatch documentation accurately and within required timeframes.

Logistics & Transport

• Prepare and complete all transport and shipping documentation, including consignment notes, delivery dockets, and labels.
• Coordinate transport bookings in accordance with customer specifications and internal instructions.
• Monitor transport movements, escalations, and delivery issues, ensuring clear communication with internal teams and external carriers.
• Ensure all items are correctly packaged, secured, and labelled to prevent transit damage.

Inventory, Scrap & Compliance

• Maintain accurate records and filing systems for warehouse, repair, and compliance documentation (physical and electronic).
• Assist with ordering consumables, gases, and warehouse-related items to support operational needs (when required)
• Assist and execute periodical stocktakes in line with company policy.

Safety & Standards

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and competently, where licensed.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment to support operational efficiency.
• Print, maintain, and attach identification tags, labels, and repair cards as required.
• Comply with all safety, quality, procedural, and environmental requirements always.

What You will need to succeed

Qualifications & Licences

• Valid forklift licence (LF) or willingness to obtain.
• Previous experience in warehouse, stores, or logistics operations (preferred).
• Experience in loading/unloading goods in accordance with TLIA1001 (secure cargo) and TLID0015 (load and unload goods/cargo)

Technical Competencies

• Sound understanding of receipting, dispatch and stock control processes.
• Ability to interpret pick lists, purchase orders, transport documentation, and system records.
• Competent in SAP inventory/repair management systems and basic computer applications. (Desirable)

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and early issue escalation.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
