The exciting opportunity

• Permanent part-time role working 30 hours a fortnight
• Based at our 77-bed Sir James Terrace aged care home in Deception Bay
• Support smooth kitchen operations to ensure residents have a positive dining experience
• Assist with the food preparation of nutritious meals that meet individual dietary needs and choices
• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment through cleaning and safe food storage
• Assist with food service while providing respectful and efficient customer service

The recipe for success

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Hand, ideally in residential aged care
• Willing to work additional shifts as a Cleaner and Laundry Attendant if required
• Demonstrates initiative, works collaboratively with the team and has strong customer service skills
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain)
• Working rights in Australia (sponsorship will not be offered)
