Network Security Engineer | Melbourne or Sydney | Up to $190,000 base salary + super & bonus

We're hiring a Network Security Engineer to work directly with enterprise customers across ANZ and SEA, acting as a trusted technical advisor on our security platform. This is a highly customer-facing role, you'll be the face of the product for your accounts, not sitting behind a ticket queue.
What you'll doMonitor, operate, and maintain customer environments — troubleshooting, upgrade planning, and knowledge transfer on key parts of the platformPerform product customisations and consult customers on best practice, positioning yourself as their trusted advisorWork in close integration with Sales, Delivery, Support, Customer Success, and R&D teamsAct as the eyes and ears on the ground — monitoring shifts in customer technical landscape, org structure, and priorities, and feeding key insights back internallyIdentify and escalate revenue-driving adoption or expansion opportunities
What you'll bringAt least 5 years' experience in a similar role within a software companyExposure to Linux or Unix environmentsExperience with networking devices (switches, routers)Firewall administration and configuration experience (Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar)Experience working with cloud platforms and managing cloud securityExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsComfortable operating under pressure in deadline-driven, business-critical situationsExperience working with global enterprise customersWillingness to travel up to 25% for on-site customer work across ANZ/SEA
