We're looking for a Long Term Planner to join our Maintenance Leadership Team and play a key role in shaping the future maintenance and asset readiness strategy across a national network. This is an opportunity to move beyond tactical planning and drive long-term decisions that improve asset reliability, resource planning and operational performance.
Reporting to the National Maintenance Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting long-term maintenance execution across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining long-term maintenance and asset readiness plans Driving the forward log to a healthy state – support review, packaging and prioritise forward works into a long-term plan (major maintenance) Supporting long-term labour resource planning across the network Leading the centralised planning and coordination of refurbishment and overhaul programs Managing centralised procurement activities including tendering, contract establishment and contractor engagement Working closely with stakeholders across Maintenance, Operations, Supply Chain and Procurement Develop centralised stocking strategies for critical assets and manage long term storage requirements and standards for critical spares. Analysing maintenance data and translating insights into practical business strategies Supporting harvest readiness programs and national asset planning activities
About You
We're looking for a strategic thinker who can combine technical planning expertise with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
You'll bring: Experience in maintenance planning within industrial, manufacturing, mining, logistics, ports, utilities or similar asset-intensive environments Strong SAP experience, particularly within maintenance planning environments Demonstrated ability to analyse data and make informed, evidence-based decisions Excellent stakeholder management and consulting skills Experience developing long-term plans across multiple sites or operational areas Strong organisational and project coordination capabilities
