Retail Sales Assistant – Full Time

This role does not require relevant industry knowledge or work experience. Training will be provided on-the-job as your skills develop.

We’re looking for a new staff member to join our growing business, and become part of our friendly and diverse team. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to enter a new industry.

Timing (5 days a week):

• Monday to Friday: 8.30am – 4.30pm

• Saturday: 8am – 1pm

Role responsibilities:

• Counter sales and customer service by phone/email.

• Creative problem solving and answer finding.

• Picking, packing and shipping orders.

• General warehousing tasks, manual handling, and item receipting.

• Communication with suppliers and manufacturers.

Our ideal candidate:

• Has strong communication and critical thinking skills.

• Enjoys learning and understanding how things work.

• Is physically capable and able to lift heavy objects.

• Has some computer skills and can learn to use new tools.

• Is friendly and well-presented.

• Is proactive and can work autonomously.

• Driver’s license required.

• Forklift license is helpful but not required.
