Are you an experienced Early Childhood Teacher passionate about pedagogy, coaching, mentoring and supporting educators to deliver high-quality practice?
Sparkways is seeking a Full-time Pedagogy and Practice Partner to join our Early Learning team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside service leaders, Educational Leaders and educators to strengthen teaching practice across our sessional kindergartens and Early Learning Centres.
You will be part of a collaborative team that values reflection, continuous improvement and best practice, working closely with our highly respected Head of Early Learning in collaboration with a Senior Practice Partner and operations team.

About The Role
Your day will include:
Observing practice and providing coaching and feedbackWorking with Educational Leaders to build the team's capabilityCoaching and mentoring service leadership, educators and teamsSupporting reflective practice and best practice guidelinesFacilitating room meetings and professional discussionsSupporting services with School Readiness Funding planning and implementationSupporting educators with strategies for children with additional needsCollaborating with Early Learning Team (Area Managers and Pedagogy and Practice Partners) to prioritise service support
Service locations:
The role will initially support services primarily across Melbourne’s northern region. As our service portfolios evolve, there may be opportunities or requirements to support services across the western region in the future. We are looking for someone who is flexible and comfortable working across different locations as service needs change.
Start Date
The position is expected to commence from 5 October 2026 (Term 4)
We are open to an earlier start date for the right candidate.
About You
You are an experienced Early Childhood professional who enjoys developing others and driving quality improvement with pedagogy and best practice at the forefront
You Will Have
Bachelor qualification (or above) in Early Childhood EducationCurrent VIT registrationStrong experience as an Early Childhood TeacherKnowledge of EYLF, VEYLDF and National Quality StandardsExperience coaching, mentoring or supporting educator practiceStrong communication and relationship-building skillsA commitment to child safety, inclusion and continuous improvementCurrent driver's licence and access to your own vehicle
Desirable
Multi-site experienceCertificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or coaching or mentoring qualifications
