Senior Software Developer

About the RoleAn exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Software Developer to join a large enterprise organisation, contributing to the development of a new Dynamic Forms module within a broader business management ecosystem.
This is a key project within a significant digital transformation initiative, with the successful candidate playing an important role in building new functionality used to capture, manage and maintain complex business information.
Working closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, testers and other senior developers, you'll be responsible for designing and developing cloud-based applications on Azure while contributing to the wider delivery of the platform.
This is an initial 6-month contract with potential for extension, offering the opportunity to work on a strategically important greenfield development project within a large and collaborative technology team.

Key ResponsibilitiesLiaise with business stakeholders to understand user needs and develop system requirementsProvide input into solution designs and document detailed design specificationsDesign, develop and maintain cloud-based web/client-server applications on AzureBuild and enhance new functionality within the organisation's core business platformDevelop and integrate APIs and supporting application functionalityContribute to UI/UX and reporting requirements where requiredProvide application management, maintenance and support within agreed SLAsMaintain accurate and consistent technical documentationApply quality control throughout the SDLC, including UATIdentify opportunities for innovation and improvements to existing technologyMentor and assist junior developersIdentify and implement improvements to SDLC practicesCollaborate closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, testers and the broader delivery team
