We have some great ecological restoration projects that are both large scale and long term and so we are seeking Bush Regenerators in the Gold Coast region.
Multiple flexible full-time, part-time & casual opportunities available.
As a Bush Regenerator Team Member, you’ll be a collaborative and reliable part of our field team, working on hands-on projects to restore and maintain high biodiversity areas.
This role often requires you to travel to remote and rugged work locations, where your contributions will help protect and regenerate natural ecosystems.
Carry out bush regeneration activities, including weed removal in bushland and grassland areas.
Use a variety of weed control techniques, including herbicides.
Apply a range of ecological restoration approaches, knowing when and how to use each technique.
Assist in planting native species and participating in revegetation programs.
Safely handle tools and heavy equipment and follow Ecosure safety guidelines.
Communicate clearly and use a mobile phone or email for work-related communications
A collaborative and reliable team member with a passion for ecological restoration.
Willingness and ability to travel at times to remote and rugged locations.
Exposure to applying weed control techniques and moderate experience with herbicides.
Knowledge of native plants, weeds, and the safe use of tools and equipment.
High level of physical fitness and ability to handle the demands of fieldwork.
Manual Driver’s Licence (4WD experience an advantage).
Commitment to safe work practices and teamwork.
Desirable Certifications (or willingness to obtain):
First Aid/CPR.
Chainsaw ticket.
Chemcert or ACDC certification.
