About the role

The role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, consumer-directed care in line with the Support at Home Program (2025), Aged Care Act reforms, and Aged Care Quality Standards.

Key responsibilities

Service Delivery & Client Care

• Ensure delivery of person-centred, goal-focused in-home care services

• Oversee assessments, care planning, and service coordination

• Support client independence, reablement, and wellbeing

• Ensure effective referrals through My Aged Care

• Monitor client outcomes and service quality

Leadership & Team Management

• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and skill mix

• Promote a positive team culture and professional development

Operational Management

• Oversee service delivery performance including budgets and utilisation

• Support implementation of Support at Home funding arrangements

• Monitor service demand and waiting lists

• Ensure sustainable and efficient service delivery

Quality, Compliance & Risk

• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards

• Ensure services align with Support at Home Program guidelines

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives

• Prepare teams for audits and accreditation

• Manage risk, incidents, and regulatory reporting requirements

Health & Safety

• Promote a safe environment for clients and staff

• Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety policies

• Ensure infection control standards are maintained

About you

• Relevant tertiary qualification in health, management, nursing, or related discipline

• Experience managing community aged care or Support at Home services

• Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory compliance

• Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams

• Experience managing operational budgets and workforce planning

• Current National Police Check

• Working With Children Check (if required)

• Current Driver's Licence
